Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Predestined Movement mobile application, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Predestined Movement ("we", "us", or "our").

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on the Platform. If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for an extended period.

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with the values and mission of Predestined Movement. You may not:

• Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access the Platform without permission
• Distribute spam, chain letters, or unsolicited communications through the Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure

You may submit content to the Platform, including prayer requests, testimonies, profile information, and other materials ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you:

• Retain ownership of your User Content, but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute it within the Platform for the purpose of operating our services
• Represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not infringe on any third party’s rights
• Acknowledge that we may remove User Content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate

The Platform may facilitate voluntary financial contributions ("Giving"). All donations are made voluntarily and are generally non-refundable. Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

We use trusted third-party payment processors to handle transactions securely. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

All content, design, logos, trademarks, and other materials on the Platform (excluding User Content) are the property of Predestined Movement or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Platform materials without our prior written consent.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Platform’s reliability, availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Spiritual content, sermons, and teachings shared on the Platform are for general edification and should not be considered a substitute for professional counselling, legal, medical, or financial advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Predestined Movement and its leadership, staff, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you breach these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
